Bookings, payments and what to expect

Here you’ll find clear information about booking and paying for sessions, cancellations, refunds, and session lengths. The aim is to be transparent and fair, so you know exactly where you stand before starting counselling.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

All appointments must be booked and paid for at the time of booking via Stripe.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required

  • Cancellations within 24 hours are charged at 100% of the session fee

  • Missed appointments and no-shows are charged in full.

If you do not attend a session, contact may be made and charges applied as appropriate.

Practitioner Cancellations

If Nikki Charrett Counselling needs to cancel or rearrange a session, you will be offered:

  • A full refund or

  • A rescheduled appointment.

Refund Policy

  • Counselling sessions are non-refundable once booked

  • No refunds are offered for missed sessions

  • Digital products, workshops and courses are non-refundable.

Session Lengths

  • Initial Free Consultation (In Person / Online / Phone): 30 minutes

  • Individual Counselling Session (In Person / Online): 1 hour

  • Couples Initial Session (In Person / Online): 1 hour 30 minutes

  • Couples Follow-up Session (In Person / Online): 1 hour 15 minutes.

Payments

  • All payments are processed securely via Stripe

  • Payment is required at the time of booking

  • Instalment plans are not currently offered.

Professional Disclaimer

  • Counselling outcomes depend on individual engagement

  • Counselling is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment

  • Nikki Charrett Counselling does not provide emergency or crisis services.

If you are in immediate distress, please contact emergency services, your GP, or organisations such as Samaritans.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
